These beautiful bowls are fairtrade and are made with a responsible business approach to forest management and wood processing. The wood is harvested sustainably from well-managed forests by the Yanesha indigenous communities of Peru’s central Amazon. They are produced solely by hand and mostly without the use of electricity. The Yanesha artisans have a deep relationship of care and respect for the wood and products they create.
